Caldecott's second picture book containing classic children's stories that are beautifully illustrated. This is a delightful copy of R. Caldecott's Picture Book No. 2 that contains the classic children's stories The Three Jovial Huntsmen, The Queen of Hearts, Sing a Song for Sixpence and The Farmer's Boy. Randolph Caldecott was a British artist and illustrator, who chiefly illustrated books. This copy has thirty two colour illustrations. Collated, complete. In the publisher's full decorative cloth. Externally, smart. There are some marks to the boards and some fading to the spine. There is an inscription to the front free endpaper. Front hinge is starting and remains firm, however title page is beginning to loosen. Generally firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Good
