New York: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1991. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Dust Jacket Included. New York, Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1991 [first American edition] (first published in Australia the same year under the title 'Collected Poems'). Octavo, xii, 322 pages. Blind-stamped cloth; trifling blemish to the gutter of the outside rear hinge; an excellent copy with the unclipped dustwrapper lightly unevenly sunned. Inscribed and signed by the poet 'for Christopher [Pearson], upholder of civilisation, no less & seriously, with my best wishes. Les', and dated 17 February 1993. Christopher Pearson (1951-2013) was editor of The Adelaide Review, columnist for The Australian, speechwriter for John Howard ... a man of letters.
