Frederick Warne & Co Ltd., 1937. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1937. 95 pages. No dust jacket. Green pictorial boards with a cloth spine. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Pages 55 - 58 are detached and have been taped into place. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

(1937). 96pp. Illustrated, with 4 color plates, by Edgar Norfield. Hardcover with dust jacket. The green boards are lightly soiled and shelfworn. Internally, end pages slightly age toned with a previous owners bookplate to 1st free end-page. Aside from age-toning to pages adjacent to color plates, a very good, clean copy. The dust jacket is in good condition, still in one piece and not price clipped, but soiled with wear (including small chips and tears) to edges and folds and a larger chip to lower portion of spine strip.

London: Frederick Warne & Co. Green hardcover binding with green cloth spine has some soiling, bumped corners, rubbing top and bottom of spine. Illustrated endpapers, name ffep, except for some foxing, clean and tight. Four color and many b/w illustrations about wire-haired fox terriers Rags and Tatters had spent Christmas at Merriemead along with the Aberdeen Terrier, Mr. Binks. The two terriers stray and get lost for a few days, but luckily they meet up with Tuppence, a mongrel terrier who looks a lot like an Irish Terrierr. 96 pages.. Illus. by Norfield, Edgar. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
