About This Item

Armonk NY: M.E. Sharpe, Inc. / An East Gate Book, 1985. Hardcover. xii, 192p., illustrated with fuzzily-reproduced b&w photography, first edition black cloth boards in dust jacket. Jacket is a little edgeworn with a small tear, find a seller's sticker inside on the pastedown, a sound clean very good copy. Take note of the chapter called 'The Doctored Photo,' about fifteen pages discussing the history of a group picture in which originally Author Isaacs and his visiting friend Lin Yutang were shown, and a later official copy where they both were erased from the group.
