(Grahamstown: Board of Trustees of the Albany Museum, 1925). 230 x 180 mm; printed wrappers; pp. [257-368] + (xxii); plates; text figures. Wrappers a little tanned; scattered, moderate foxing; occasional trace of damp-stain to top edge of leaves; fore- and top edges of one plate (XVII) torn, with some loss, tear slightly intruding on image, though repaired to reverse side with archival tape. Good condition. Exceedingly uncommon museum journal, which produced pioneering articles in such fields as paleontology and ichthyology. This edition includes four articles by Robert Broom. Contents: Some New Lamellibranchs from the Bokkeveld Beds, by F.R. Cowper-Reed; New and Little Known South African Naiades, by M. Connolly; Some New and Little Known Species of Hemiptera from Grahamstown, South Africa, by W. E. China; Descriptions of some African Arachnida, by John Hewitt; On the South African Triassic Rhynchocephaloid Reptile "Eosuchus" Colletti, Watson, by R. Broom; On evidence of a Giant Pig from the late Tertiaries of South Africa, by R. Broom; On some Carnivorous Therapsids, by R. Broom; On the Pelvis and Sacrum of Dicynodon, by R. Broom; Descriptions of Two New Species of the Genus Acontias and Notes on some other Lizards found in the Cape Province, by R. Essex; On Some New Species of Reptiles and Amphibians from South Africa, by John Hewitt. .
