Published by the ESTATE OF JACOB ROEMER, Flushing N.Y. 1897. 1st ed. 317pp. Amazingly clean red cloth with pin-head sized rub thru and smaller to lower corner tips only. Blind-stamped spine and boards. Gilt to letters on spine and to front decoration, which shows shield, anchor, canon, stars and floral design. Green floral design to endpapers and pastedowns. Old secure hinge tape repair between front board and first floral endpaper. This endpaper shows minor chipping to lower front edge. Pages are clean, bright, tight and unmarked.
