San Francisco: National Assocaition of Insurance Commissioners, 1939 Red cloth; gilt title and spine. Members of the Committee included Alfred N. Guertin, Chairman; Russell O. Hooker; Charles Hughes; F. Edward Huston; and three others. This report was presented to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners at its meeting at San Francisco on June 21, 1939. It was adopted by the Association at its meeting at Biloxi, Mississippi, on December 8, 1939, with concurrence in all the recommendations therein, and with the understanding that the Model Bill included therein shall be regarded as illustrative rather than as specific legislation for enactment in any particular state. Includes such exciting chapters such as "Non-Forfeiture Benefits," "Industrial Insurance," and "Wars and Epidemics." With four charts, including popualtion mortality charts for [only!] white males and white females. Historically interesting. Light-to-moderate rubbing to cover extremeties. Otherwise clean, tight, and unworn.
