Very Good Plus, small rubs at corners, 2 small crease at folds of rear fold-out map, front hinge just barely starting. A quite handsome copy overall of this abridgement of Seven Pillars of Wisdom that Lawrence had to publish in order to cover costs from the subscription edition of Seven Pillars of Wisdom. . First American Printing. Cloth. Very Good Plus/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
Synopsis
The abrdiged version of Seven Pillars of Wisdom, which is the autobiographical account of the experiences of British soldier T. E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia"), while serving as a liaison officer with rebel forces during the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Turks of 1916 to 1918.
