New York: Doubleday, Page & Co., 1912. Third printing, 1912. Worn copy. Beautifully illustrated with 33 (of 34) tipped-on tissue-protected color plates by Rackham. Blue cloth printed in gilt, 159 pages plus plates. Covers worn with spine chipped and separating from text block, hinges internally cracked but secure, text block sound but no longer firm, pages and background of plates age-toned, otherwise clean with no names or other markings. The plate opposite page 72 is absent, and the plate opposite page 112 has been removed with the background page cut down to a smaller size and loosely laid in in the correct place. The frontis tissue is detached but present, one other tissue chipped. All other plates present and in very good condition. . Hard Cover. Fair. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
