Hardcover with dustjacket, first edition as stated on copyright page, inscribed, signed and dated by the author on the half-title page: "This is Helen Justis' copy of....Gertrude Z. Thomas - December, 1965." A presentation inscription from a friend is present on the first blank end-paper and there is mild tanning to the outer page-edge, the binding is tight and clean and the contents are fine, the jacket has rubbing to the glossy surface and is price-clipped, the jacket is clean and presentable and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, "How a royal bride's dowry introduced cane, lacquer, cottons, tea, and porcelain to England and so revolutionized taste, manners, craftsmanship, and history in both England and America," illustrated throughout, includes a bibliography ; Signed by Author .
