Tan boards with black spine, gilt titles on spine, green endpapers, xx, 443 pp, 8 ff b & w photo plates, 7 sketches by Ernst Udet, notes, bibliography, index. Corners bumped, boards fading slightly near edges. DJ has a few tears to 2 cm and small chips to edges, the 2-color illustration is printed about 1 mm off register; in Brodart archival cover. Head of Lufthansa before the war, Milch was largely responsible for organizing production of warplanes for the Luftwaffe. He served 10 years in prison for war crimes, but his guilty verdict was based in part on evidence later found to be the fabrication of an habitual fraud. Shipping weight 3 lbs.. First US Edition. .
