About This Item

London: Bracken Books, 1985 A well produced facsimile of the original 1909 edition. Good text from A.G.Bradley, a keen fisherman - but the glory of this book is the 75 glowing full plate watercolours by Sutton Palmer. Born in 1854 in Plymouth, Devon, where the Tamar and the Tavy both meet the sea, he spent most of his life as a landscape water-colourist, that particularly English medium so suitable for the subject of this book.
