First edition, first impression [first issue] (London: Frederick Warne & Co, 1908) with 'All rights reserved' to title page.

Colour and black & white illustrations, one or two instances of light finger-soiling, final three pages lightly spotted, pictorial endpapers, hinges cracked after endpapers, fore-edge and top edge somewhat spotted, original red cloth, upper cover with inset colour illustration, some fading to spine and front cover, rear cover a little scratched with two small puncture marks. Very good overall.
