Smith, Elder and Co., 1909. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1909. No Edition Remarks. 128 pages. No dust jacket. Decorated green cloth. Contains black and white in-text illustrations. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be loose. Minor pencil inscription to rear pastedown. Binding is shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with fraying to cloth. Heavy splits to joints with top of spine strip loose. Mild sunning to spine and edges.
