About This Item

1677 Hugo of Saint-Cher Holy Bible Concordance Latin Vulgate Bibliorum Sacra

Hugh of Saint-Cher was a 13th-century Dominican monk most remembered today for his contributions to the first ever Bible concordance. Hugh, or Hugo, used the Latin Vulgate as the basis for their concordance and it was first completed around 1230 by Hugo and other Dominican friars. This 1677 edition includes short biblical quotations featuring the word, along with the biblical references throughout.
