Book Condition: VG; light foxing to text block top; light edge wear to bottom boards from shelving. DJ: VG; chipping at head; bump and crease at tail; closed tears on rear top edge; light wear at hinge fold. Blue-green cloth boards and spine with bright black lettering on spine. 182 pp 8vo. Based on actual events this is the story of Svend Norman, a Dane, who was a seafaring man who got put ashore with a weapon in the Army in WWII in Alaska. He survives in the cold north, learning from the Indians and using his own wits to service and maintain his identity against the military forces of compliance and conformity. A clean and presentable copy in Brodart mylar.
