Part I: "The formation of the South African Engineer Corps and its operations in East Africa and the Middle East to the Battle of Alamein". The dustjacket is scuffed, worn about edges and seams. It has some handling and storage marks. The boards are placid and sure. The page trims have shelving and handling marks. The frontispage has a previous owner notation. The contents are neat, clean, clear, confident, dutiful. Part 2: ISBN: 0620061006 : "The operations of the South African Engineer Corps in the North African and Italian theatres of war from the Battle of El Alamein to the end of World War II, with a brief description of subsequent developments". An equally agreeable copy. The dustjacket is in similar condition as for Part 1. The boards have wear to the corner and edges. The contents are also in similar condition to Part 1.
