Bibliographical Society. 1980. First Edition, orig. cloth Bibliographical study of 'The Volume Pepys 1553' which consists of 26 separate Spanish plays and two pamphlets. The plays are of the kind Spaniards call 'sueltas'; they consist of three or four gatherings with head-titles. The text is mostly in double columns. None has either date or imprint. None is likely to have been printed after 1684. From the library of Dr C.E. Wright (former Senior Deputy Keeper Department of Manuscripts, British Museum).
