London: Macmillan and Co., 1890. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. New Edition. 13cm x 19cm. pp. [vi], 336. Ornate black leather prize binding for Alleyn's School, Dulwich London. The binding is in very good condition, six decorative spine compartments, tan leather spine label with gilt lettering, gilt vignette with the school crest to the front board. Contents clean and tight, original marbled endpapers and matching fore-edges, prize plate to the front paste-down dated 1890, some foxing to the first front free paper, title page and text within unmarked. A very good copy with a bright decorative binding..
