Original publisher's brown boards - gilt embossed to the spine. The text supported by numerous colour photographic reproductions. Light rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and to the lower board edges - fairly typical with this type of binding. No inscriptions. The endpapers feature a heraldic design (arms to the kings of Scots). The dust jacket has not been price-clipped and has a little shelf wear. A very good, clean, tight copy in similar jacket.
