About This Item
Chicago: Laird & Lee, 1889. Fair. Trade Paperback. First Edition. 8vo (up to 9½" tall). Wrinkling, rubbing and wear to wraps with small closed tear to top edge of rear cover. Text block is square, clean and tight, moderately toned with age. In Fraktur font. First few pages are dogeared at the top and bottom corners from wear, a few more dogears through out. A solid copy that borders on being Good. Title translates as "Seaman's Adventure: Account of the Times of the Civil War", apparently referring to the US Civil War. I see pirates mentioned, as well as Liverpool and New York.
