Franklin Center, Pennsylvania: The Franklin Library, 1976. This handsome full-leather volume is in Fine condition and appears unread. It is a Limited First Edition for The First Edition Society of Franklin Library. The book is bound in brown leather with ornate gilt designs and borders on both panels and spine. The spine also has four raised bands and die-stamped gilt titles. The book has all-edge gilt. The leather is slightly rubbed at the crown of the spine.The book includes silk moiré endpapers and a sewn-in ribbon bookmark. The book has a special Introduction written by the author for the First Edition members and has his printed signature. The book was illustrated by Leo and Diane Dillon. The book measures 6 3/4 by 9 1/2 inches and includes 294 pages. . . First Edition Thus. Full-Leather. Fine/No Dust Jacket as Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
