Likely published c.1951 (1951 date appears in book). ML #274.1. --- With mild discoloration to cloth and prior owner's sticker affixed to front free endpaper, otherwise a clean, unmarked, tightly-bound copy. Price-clipped dust jacket's back panel order form for other Modern Library titles has been clipped out, along with general age-toning and mild scuffing to extremities, protected in removable mylar wrapper.; 12mo (7 to 7-1/2 in. tall); xx, 524 pages .
