Edward Sylvester Ellis (1840–1916) was an American author, teacher, school administrator, and journalist, who wrote hundreds of books and magazine articles published under his own name and also more than a dozen differen pen names. Many were issued in the early dime novel format published by Beadle and Adams. .

At The Antiquarian Book Shop, located in Georgetown - an historic neighborhood of Washington, D.C. we have been buying, selling & appraising rare, interesting and scholarly books in Georgetown for more than 30 years.
