Romanticized Victorian tour of France and Italy illustrated with full page plates in photogravure plus many smaller illustrations throughout the text. White cloth lettered and with a delicate allover design in gilt, top edge gilt, 210 pages. Light shelf soil and faint foxing to white covers, good hinges, sound text block, gift notation dated 1901 on preliminary blank, pages otherwise very clean and unmarked. Includes original plain tissue dustjacket which is chipped and worn.. Hard Cover. Good/No. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
