About This Item
A full set of the Lemony Snicket masterpiece. Perhaps not quite a masterpiece like the Mona Lisa, or the Roman aqueducts, or a really well-prepared filet mignon, but the best he's ever done (or so it's been said, perhaps even by Daniel Handler). Anyway, volumes six through thirteen are first editions with complete number lines. Some volumes have the original owner's name inside the front cover. Most show little to no wear, a few are a little dusty and volume ten has had something spilled on it, leaving a stain on the top page edges and on the rear free endpaper. Impact to the other pages is inconsequential, a word which means you will be able to read and understand the suffering of the Baudelaire orphans with no disruption. By buying the set as a single unit, you will also avoid having to pay shipping thirteen times, no doubt a benefit for all but the wealthiest of readers. All excess shipping costs for this weighty tome are included in the list price. This set will ship at ten pounds or more, which means it cannot be shipped internationally without making special arrangements, a phrase which is used here as an euphemism for spending more money.

Many of my books are oversized. Rather than ask for shipping adjustments at the time of purchase, the list price for heavier books includes the excess shipping cost. All of my photographs are of the actual product, taken by my trusty little Kindle Fire. Currently we have about 2900 books offered for sale online, with more being added daily. Check back frequently to see what's new. -----
