Scarce in the trade, saddle-stitched in octavo softcover format, with 29 pp., an apparent First Edition, an important item regarding the issues of colonization, Christianity, slavery, and Christian missions there. Author was the Rev. Melville Horne, Late Chaplain to the Colony of Sierra Leone. Mildly soiled and foxed throughout, but clean and unmarked of interior. Penultimate page has a very tight margin.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
