Hugh Thomson . 8vo, vii + pp322 plus 2 pages advertisements, complete with 24 colour plates and 21 b/w plates by Hugh Thomson, the first edition to do so. Hardcover no dust jacket. Publishers green cloth binding with decorative gilt to front board and spine in very good condition with a little shelf wear to top of spine and the odd mark to boards. Inside bookplate to ffe paper which is creased along with the half title page. Frontispiece with tissue guard is loose but present. All other pages with full edge gilt in very good clean condition. Cracked at pp48/49 but holding nicely. a nice copy of this scarce edition.
