This FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1928, is the ONLY printing to contain the photogravure frontispiece portrait of the author. Hardcover 8vo has bright blue cloth over boards with gilt design & lettering to front & spine. Condition is VG: very clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages show just a whisper of tanning, but completely unmarked. Moderate rubbing & fading to extremities & spine, heavier corner bumping. No DJ (missing).
