New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston, (1966). First Edition. Original wraps. Very good. Quarto, unpaginated photo offset of a manuscript containing 34 poems. With difference on 11 poems eventually published in 1971 (here with enclosed) Inscribed "For Mitch and Denise with warmest regards always- Al" Mitchell Goodman, writer and Vietnam Activist and poet Denise Levertov". The last page states that this is "proof sheet, illuminations 2/1966. There are There are 44 poems in the published book . Of the 34 poems printed here 11 poems are different from from a few words to complete sections added or removed from the publihsed book. Denise Levertov's embossed ownership label affixed to the front inside wrapper. Very good in 8 1/2 x 11 stapled sheets.
