NY: Eastman Lewis, 1904. Second Edition. Hard cover in original cloth. Published NY: Eastman Lewis, 1904. 8vo., 158pp, illustrated with frontis and tissue guarded plates of paintings by the author. Red cloth with white titles, top edge gilting, printed on laid paper. While better known as a painter (thank you, Marcel Duchamp!), Louis Michel Eilshemius wrote verse that echoes the longings for emotional authenticity seen in his paintings. Some fade to the spine and front cover, light fray at the crown and upper tips. Pages bright, binding tight. Very good plus. . Hard. Very Good Plus/No Jacket. 8vo.
