Signed by Elbert Hubbard on the limited edition page. 203/2978. Hardcover. Bound in quarter brown leather suede and textured paper, cover is lettered in blue with red crosses. Gilt top edge. Deckled foredge and foot. Printed on handmade, Roycroft water-marked paper. Title page and text throughout is red and black. Frontispiece is a plate engraving of "Jesus of Nazareth After the Drawing by Jules Maurice Gaspard", protected by a titled tissue guard. 238 pp. <br><br>FROM THE TITLE PAGE: "Being a Sincere Attempt to Sketch the Life, Times and Teachings, and With Truth Limn the Personality, of the Judean Prophet". <br><br>CONDITION: Good only. Cover shows wear and some indentation at the edges. Outer joints are starting, yet boards are still attached. Suede backstrip is missing. Interior textblock is in remarkably lovely condition. Leaves are bright and unmarked. Text is bold and dark. Very little discoloration throughout. A lovely little book, with a distinct sense of reverence. Full refund if not satisfied.
