Small (about 5mm) strip removed from top and bottom edge of price-clipped dustwrapper, along with some tape repairs, minor bumping to spine ends and corners of green boards, original owner's date (23rd September 1954) on f/ep and an address in another hand, a tear to the lower fold of map at back of the book, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Looks at the scenery, history, legends, architecture, archaeology and antiquities along the south coast of Devon. 181pp, colour frontispiece, 16 b&w illustrations, folding map at rear of book.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
