Full tan cloth, maroon stamped lettering. 326 pp. Spine cocked and bumped at ends, cloth foxed and stained (worse at spine). Foxing to edges of text block. Ownership stamp of H.F. Spearing to foot of title page. Dust jacket is damp stained to foot of rear cover, worn and chipped to extremities, crapped to flaps (but not price clipped). A tale of love in the wild and lonely hills of Scotland, this novel blends the flavor of high romance with the poetic, earthy imagination for which Maurice Walsh is celebrated.
