About This Item
Chicago: Monarch Book Company, 1893 226pp. We believe this to be a "Salesman's Dummy" Copy. Both the covers have full leather extensions (similar to a Dust Jackets flap folds) with gilt or colored designs that are very well preserved. The tips and spine ends are heavily bumped and rubbed. The edges are heavily rubbed. The front hinge is cracked from the spin head to just past the center. There is partially erased pencil marking on the rear endpaper. The tablet in the rear has one page that is half written on and one page that is mostly torn away and missing. Could be other flaws as well. Text is clean and unmarked. . First Edition ?. Hard Cover. Poor/No Dust Jacket.
