Maroon cloth lettered in gilt and decorated with a 3-color silhouette of an elk walking in the woods. 346 pps. With 24 photographic plates. The authors' reminiscences of hunting adventures in the big woods of America from Maine to the Northwest. Moose and caribou were among his favorite targets. Worn about the tips and spine edges, front hinge split.
