Book Condition: VG+; light shelfwear to tips, head, and tail. No DJ as issued. Red padded leatherette boards and spine with gilt lettering on spine and front board. Unpaginated Folio. This book contains copies of the 36 ducks and geese paintings by the authors that were published from 1946-49 in Sports Afield Magazine. The colored illustrations depict the male and female of the species in full flight in nuptial plumage along with sketches of the birds on the water and map showing the known distribution in North America. Al the prints have been run on a special heavy paper to allow for framing by detaching them from the book. A clean very presentable copy.
