Amsterdam and New York: Joost Elffers Productions, 1982. First Issue. Hardcover. Small quarto. 10.25 x 7.25 inches. 20 pp (unpaginated). Near Fine. No dust jacket as issued. Original cardboard slipcase. Architectural pop-up book with no text but 10 different configurations of pop-up stairs. Blind stamped linen on boards. Presumed first issue, as no statement of edition present, and stated copyright date of 1982 is consistent auction records. Top board lightly foxed. Scattered internal foxing, notably on pastedowns. Slipcase edge-worn, chipped, and dented (see photos). Rein Jansma is a well-known Dutch architect and founder of the architectural studio ZJA.
