A children's version of the Crusades, part of the "Stories from History" series, edited by John Lang. Brown cloth cover with gilt stamped into spine and front, full-color illustration on front. Deckle-edged paper. All eight full-color illustrated plates are intact.
Inscription by FON dated 1913.
Cover has some small stains, wear, and bumping. Book is warped from improper storage. Pages are age tanned. Tear on page 47, but text is intact. Stains on front papers and small markings on back.
