Boston, MA; [Daniels], 1917. Original Wraps. 8vo. 33 pages. 24 cm. Illustrated. First edition. Four pages of black and white photographs showing portraits of important congregation members, and an exterior photograph of the temple. "Issued on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the dedication of the present house of worship of the congregation. " Describes how the new congregation was formed in 1854 after a split from the only other Jewish congregation in Boston. Subjects: Jews -- Massachusetts -- Boston. Boston (Mass. ) -- Synagogues. OCLC lists 2. (Brandeis, HUC) Some shelfwear. 2 inch tear from top edge in center of front wrap, previously repaired with tape. Text fresh and clean. Very Good condition. Scarce. (AMR-43-47).
