About This Item
Michael Joseph, 1976. 1st Edition. Hardcover. NF/VG. TANGYE, JEAN. 1st Edition, 1st Impression. 14.1 x 22.2cm claret boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, 189 (1) pp, with original unclipped dust jacket priced at £1.75. With a gift inscription from the author and also signed by the illustrator on the front free endpaper. A very good plus book with a little pushing to the spine tips. Internally, there is a hint of spotting to the edge of the text block and a hint of toning to the endpapers. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable clear jacket (not shown in our images), is a little toned to the rear and has dust staining to the edges of the rear flap. The bottom edge has a little shelf wear and the laminate has rolled away slightly at the bottom corner of the rear panel. There is a 1.5 cm closed tear on the top corner of the rear panel. All in all a well presented 1st edition signed copy. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
