Paris: Didot Jeune, 1812. Unknown (by me) edition. Red textured cloth over boards. 72 pages. Eight tissue-protected plates of engravings, including the frontispiece. Subtitle: "D'un Ami Des Lettres Et Des Arts, M. de la Serrie (de la Vendee), avec Divers Sujets, Dessines et Graves Soigneusement de sa Main." Some of the tissues a bit ragged, one at least is disbound. A couple of tiny tears to tops of pages, a few small notations in old, brown, faded ink. a few spots of light foxing. Pages generally very white and clean. A piece about 1 by 3 inches has been torn from the upper edge of the half-title page, which is also the first leaf. Hinges sound. Pages tightly bound. Covers are lightly worn at corners and spine ends, with a few small spots of scuff/rub. I have no idea if this is the original binding or not. Text is in French.. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 6.5 x 4 Inches.
