William Heinemann. 1934. 12mo, 18,4cm, first edition, 181p., colour illustrated mapped endpapers, in full green morocco, blind ruled bands, gilt spine and cover title, t.e.g., near fine copy (ho3.2). Set in the fictional Central or South American state of Santa Barbara and is an adventure story about the taking of a ship called the "Gry". It features the only known map (or, rather, map illustration) of the City of Santa Barbara, and an appendix setting out the history of the fictional state of Santa Barbara.
