Boston: Ticknor and Fields, 1863. First Edition, First Issue. Hardcover. Octavo, [i-viii], [1]-225 pages with 21 page publisher's catalog. In Good minus condition. Bound in faded purple cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Boards show sunning to spine, light rubbing to corners, bending and fraying to spine edges, spine edges chipped off, and large tears to spine. Textblock has mild age toning, splitting to gutters between pages 50 and 51 and between pages 70 and 71, pages 50-71 mostly detached, and tearing to title page at tail edge of gutter.
