Faint thumbing on a couple pages, else fine. Bottom corner of dust jacket's front flap is clipped, but publisher's price still present in upper corner. DJ in archival sleeve. 32 unnumbered pages. 10.75 x 8.8 inches. Pinkerton, a lovable Great Dane, and his feline sidekick, Rose, join their young owner on a trip to the woods. When they encounter Dr. Aleasha Kibble's Fox Hunting Academy results in a zany escalation of events, including a hair-raising balloon ride with Pinkerton aboard. Steven Castle Kellogg (b.1941) is an American author and illustrator of children's books. In 1989 he won the Regina Medal for his "continued, distinguished contribution to children's literature." He has also been the recipient of the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award and the Irma Black Award for Excellence in Children's Literature.
