Original publisher's decorative light grey cloth binding, spine decorated and lettered in gilt, front cover lettered and pictorially decorated with a large Scottish National Armorial stamped in gold, silver, gold, red, blue, and black. Edinburgh and London: W. & A. K. Johnston. 1886. First edition. Each plate with descriptive text, A detailed account of the growth and development of clan history, warfare, and legend. Fine. Scarce.
