About This Item

London, printed from the manuscript in the Bodleian Library by The Nonesuch Press, 1927, crown 8vo, pp.x, 213 (1); bound in woven red & grey cloth with Nonesuch motifs, as issued without d/w. - Hand set by Francis Meynell at the Nonesuch own typographic plant in Great James Street, with the 17th c. types of Janson (which the Nonesuch Press alone possessed in England), and printed by the Chiswick Press, each page within red rules. Edited with introductory note by Meynell. An edition of 1500 numbered copies. - Slight off-setting from the engraved frontispiece on title-page (as always), and some brown off-setting from glue to the blank fly-leaves front and rear; a very good copy indeed, and rather a scarce Nonesuch book. - [Extra shipping cost for destinations out with France]
