Limited edition of 24 on hand made paper and 6 on Basingwerk Parchment, this copy No. 1. Slim small 4to, pp64 with vignettes by Ronald Bell throughout. Hardcover no dust jacket. Binding of cloth spine over grey paper covered boards with paper title label to front board in very good condition with a few marks and rubbing to edges. Inside warmly inscribed "to Joana, for her unfailing friendship, Ronald Bell, 29th May 1942". all rough cut pages and decorated endpapers in lovely near fine condition. Very scarce.
