Nadel with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy from University of Vienna was interested in Social Anthropology. His field work was mainly in Africa and Australia as well as teaching at the London School of Economics and held the Chair of Anthropology and Sociology at the Australian National University. This book contains his reflections on mans social structure. B&W charts, 158 pages.
