Norwalk, CT: Easton Press. Near Fine. 1991. Hardcover. Robert Kennedy provides his intimate insight into the famous Cuban Missle Crisis and his book was originally published this book in 1991. There is an introduction by Robert S. McNamara and British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan. This is the finely bound Easton Press edition in a full red leather binding with four raised spine bands and five compartments. The cover and spine decorations are in 22 kt gold, all edges are gilt; silk moire end papers with yellow silk ribbon bookmark; printed on archival acid-free paper with smyth sewing. The publisher's "Notes from History" describing the book and the author is loosely laid in. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. There are no owner names, bookplates or other ownership markings. This copy appears to have been unread. It will make a handsome addition to any library.; Leather-Bound Library of American History Series; B&W Illustrations; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 224 pages .
